Head Chef

We are looking for a talented chef with great interpersonal skills, experience and the ability to delight our customers with their culinary creativity. A working knowledge of food safety & hygiene protocols essential. Leading by example and demonstrating a strong and passionate work ethic within the kitchen team

Based in Mission EmployAble’s new Café on the Common, Chorleywood
Five weeks holiday pay (pro - rata)
40 hours per week full-time position will included weekend work. The café is a daytime operation so no evening work is required
A competitive salary for the right person
Permanent role, reporting to our General Manager

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Full time roles will require experience of working in high volume environments with fresh food
To create and maintain a calm and supportive working environment
The ability to deliver menu items to specification
To be able to follow due diligence procedures, record data accurately and ensure you are working within H&S parameters
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)

Volunteers

In particular, we are looking for café hosts for weekdays and weekends - no experience needed, and volunteers to join our Training and Fundraising teams.
