Music Quiz Night Under The Stars Returns

Back for it’s 2nd year after last summer's fantastic success and promises that we would do it again. Join us for a light-hearted quiz evening for those aged 16 and over held in a marquee in beautiful private grounds just outside Chorleywood

Why not make up a table of friends and join us for a music quiz with a difference, in a peaceful private garden just outside Chorleywood?

We can’t promise you stars (other than those musicians who feature in quiz questions), but we can promise you a very entertaining evening, the shelter of a marquee in case of rain and even the odd booby prize and joker round! Bring your own picnic. There will be a paying bar. Please note that corkage will be charged for those who bring their own bottles.

If group members buy their tickets individually, please give the name of the lead member of your party, so we can put you together on a table.

Directions to the venue will be emailed to ticket holders on confirmation of booking. Free parking.

Chorleywood Cricket Club has teamed up with Chorleywood Cider Club to hold a Cider Fest over August Bank Holiday weekend.

The event will feature a home game and two cricket tournaments over the weekend.

Chorleywood Cider Club, which has chosen Mission EmployAble as their Charity of the Year, will serve cider (made from apples grown in Chorleywood Community Orchard).

Customers can pre order cider to take away, or enjoy their drinks at Chorleywood Cricket Club on the Common.

For those of you who enjoy watching cricket or just want to pop over to collect your pre-orders during the August Bank Holiday weekend, above are the approximate times of the cricket games. Why don’t you bring along a chair and come and join us for chat, a cider & sausage roll or a slice of cake, we would love to see you there.

P.S. Delicious homemade sausage rolls and cakes for sale - please can you remember to bring some cash. (Cider stall will have a card reader.) Games will be cancelled should it be raining, but the Cider Club will be there for collections of their pre -orders.

Golf Day at Moor Park

Please join us for a golf day, gala dinner and auction at Moor Park Golf Club in aid of Chorleywood Cricket Club’s new club pavilion on Chorleywood Common.

Wednesday, 14 September 2022:
12.00: Tea, coffee and bacon rolls on arrival
1.30pm: 18 holes - West course (shotgun)
6.30pm: Drinks
7.15pm: Dinner, awards ceremony and fundraising auction

The new pavilion will house the Mission EmployAble training café for young adults aged 19-25 with learning disabilities and will enable the Cricket Club to extend its adult and colt programme to include women, girls and players with physical disabilities.

Prizes will include:
Longest drive
Nearest to the pin
Straightest drive
Winning four-ball team

Tickets:
£135 per person
£500 for a four ball for a day of golf, tea, coffee, bacon rolls on arrival and dinner.
Dinner only option is available at £60 per person (from 7.15pm).

Places are limited for both golf and the dinner.
